SciFi and Fantasy Art: Daoine Veldriss

Another character of mine from The Turning Point MUD, an online fantasy roleplaying game. She's a llaiadain pixie. They're fallen fae who were charged with crimes abhorrent to the pixie kingdom and their punishment was to have their wings snipped off and part of their magic taken away, then are banished from the lands. Daoine is a necromancer and so she enjoys getting back at those winged frolicking merry-makers by turning them into her undead servants. She's just a teensy-weensy bit on the crazy side. Cute, isn't she? Heehee. This is, of course, a rough sketch, and I plan on cleaning it up and colorizing it some day. I also did her name in pencil, then inked over it because I was pleased with how the letters turned out.

15 Mar 2001	Anon.	Loading... Definately an interesting pic. It almost looks like she's landing after jumping off a ledge.(at least thats my rendition of it.) Amy A. Carlstrom replies: "I guess she does, at that. I was trying to draw her in a crouching position (which is a lot harder than it seems, and which is why some of her proportions are waaaaaaaay off). Maybe she was jumping off her zombie-pixie's shoulders? "Banzai!!!" "
